Shipping Policy

At LET’S KENDO MAX, our mission is to deliver authentic, high-quality Budo equipment to Kendo enthusiasts worldwide. International shipping is a vital part of our daily operations.

■ Countries & Regions We Ship To
We work with globally trusted logistics providers and top-tier domestic carriers in Japan to ship to nearly every region around the world.

Please Note:
・We do not currently ship to hotels, hostels, or other temporary accommodation facilities within Japan.
・Similar restrictions may apply for shipments to such locations abroad.
・If you wish to ship to such an address, please contact us in advance.
・For domestic orders in Japan, please provide a residential address.

■ Shipping Options
・Additional shipping charges may be calculated at checkout for certain regions.
・For deliveries to Central/South America or remote locations, extra fees may apply—especially for oversized or long items.

■ Shipping to Australia
We primarily use FedEx and Japan Post EMS.
・Small Orders: May incur additional shipping fees.
・Oversized/Long Items: Additional charges may apply.
・Remote Areas: Extra delivery fees may be required.

■ Shipping to U.S. Military Bases
Shipping to U.S. military facilities is restricted.
Please contact us in advance to confirm if delivery is possible.
Currently, we do not ship to ZIP codes starting with:
090–098 / 962–966 / 340

■ Shipping to South Africa
There are no current restrictions for South Africa, but extra shipping fees may apply.
For large orders, please contact us before placing your order.

■ Regions with Suspended Shipping
We are currently unable to ship to the following regions:
・Belarus, Russia, and parts of Ukraine.
・Additionally, we cannot ship to countries with closed borders, active war zones, or extremely remote areas.

■ Shipping of Replica Swords (Iaito)
Our Iaito resemble real Japanese swords and may be subject to import restrictions in some countries.
We label them as “Martial Arts Equipment,” but please verify local import laws before purchasing.
We are not responsible for items confiscated by customs.

Countries requiring import permits or documents:
・United Kingdom (check with local customs or Kendo orgs)
・Greece, Israel, Malaysia, Philippines

Countries where Iaito imports are prohibited:
・China, Belarus, Russia, Brunei, Belgium

■ Customs & Import Taxes
All orders are shipped under DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) terms.
Customs duties, taxes, or handling fees are the responsibility of the customer.
If these fees are not paid and the shipment is returned, we cannot issue a refund.

■ Shipping Carriers
We use FedEx or Japan Post EMS, depending on package size, weight, and destination.
A tracking number will be emailed to you upon shipment.

■ Returns & Cancellations
If there is an error in sizing or shipment, we accept returns or exchanges.
Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for full details.

■ Damaged or Lost Shipments
If you suspect a delay or loss, contact both the carrier and our team immediately.
If your package arrives damaged, report it to the carrier and take photos of the box and item.
You may be asked to provide a damage report or documentation.
We will follow up with further instructions as needed.

■ If a Package is Returned
If you’re unable to receive your package, please contact the carrier promptly to arrange redelivery or pickup.
Returned items may be reshipped for an additional fee.
If we do not hear from you within 7 days of the package’s return, we will issue a partial refund (excluding original shipping fees).

Note:
Refunds will not be issued for packages returned due to unpaid customs or import fees.

■ Dissatisfaction with Shipping Service
If you encounter poor service from the shipping carrier, please let us know.
